From Hand Screen Printing to Sustainable, On-Demand Fashion
Since 2007, Mild West Heroes has been creating t-shirts with purpose.
We hand screen-printed
Every garment was produced by us, using the most eco-friendly inks available, working closely with a growing group of local artists. Rather than simply buying designs, we made the decision to pay a commission on every sale —because fair business is at the core of everything we do.
From our beginnings ...
At the Tobacco Factory Market in Southville and the Nails market in the centre of Bristol, we opened a shop in St Nicholas Market and later became involved with several of the pop up shops run by Made In Bristol and Colab.
Festivals followed and from 2010 we took our stall (along with various friends and helpers) to Glastonbury Festival.
You may also know us from Bath Christmas Market where we were regular traders in and around Bath Abbey Churchyard for many years.
We’ve always been committed to using only ethically produced garments—organic cotton, bamboo, and even recycled plastic bottle fabrics. We’ve now expanded our sustainability efforts by partnering with Teemill, an eco-conscious, on-demand printing platform based on the Isle of Wight.
On-Demand Sustainability
At Mild West Heroes, sustainability has always been at the core of what we do. To further this commitment, we've partnered with Teemill to introduce on-demand printing for our t-shirts. This cutting-edge, zero-waste model ensures that each item is only made when ordered, which means we’re minimizing waste and significantly reducing our environmental footprint.
With Teemill’s eco-friendly processes, we’re able to produce high-quality, ethically sourced garments that reflect both our values and our mission to create a more sustainable future. Every t-shirt we create supports a better way of doing things—fewer resources wasted, and more impact where it matters most.
